Privacy Policy

SpendLogz collects very little. This explains what, why, and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

• Account data — name, email, and hashed password when you register. Google sign-in shares only name and email.
• Transaction data — wallet top-ups, purchases, and refund history. We do not store card numbers. All payments are processed by Flutterwave.
• Order data — records of what you purchased, when, and delivery status.
• Support data — messages and attachments you send through support tickets.
• Notification data — in-app notification preferences and delivery status.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as page views. No individual user profiling.

2. How we use your data

• To operate your account and process purchases.
• To send transactional emails — order confirmations, delivery notifications, account verification, password resets.
• To deliver in-app and push notifications about your orders, support replies, and account activity.
• To provide support and resolve disputes.
• To detect and prevent fraud.
• We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

3. Third-party services

• Payment processor — a third-party service (Flutterwave) handles all card and bank transfer transactions. We never store your card details.
• File storage — purchased files and images are stored and delivered through a secure storage provider.
• Email delivery — transactional emails are sent through a third-party email service.
• Social sign-in — if you choose to sign in with a social account, only your name and email are shared with us.
• Analytics — we use anonymous page view analytics. No individual user profiling or tracking across sites.

4. Data retention

• Account data is kept for as long as your account exists.
• Order and transaction records are retained for 2 years for dispute and compliance purposes.
• Support ticket messages are retained for 1 year after ticket closure.
• Deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days. Transaction records may be retained for legal compliance.

5. Cookies

• We use a session cookie for authentication. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

6. Your rights

• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@spendlogz.com.
• We will respond within 14 days.

7. Security

• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Data in transit is encrypted via TLS.
• We do not store payment card details.
• Admin actions are logged in an audit trail.

8. Changes

• We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
